Part 1 (25 min)
Open-EP: An Open E-Paper Community for Embedded Linux
Open-EP is a Taiwan-based open-source community dedicated to electronic paper technologies in embedded systems. We develop open hardware driver boards, support multiple processor platforms (Renesas, NXP, Raspberry Pi), and contribute E-Paper related Device Tree and DRM drivers to the mainline Linux kernel.

This session introduces our community activities, upstream experience, and practical lessons in integrating E-Paper with Yocto/Ubuntu/Android operating system.

Part 2 (20 min)
CI, Yocto BSPs, and CRA Readiness
The EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) introduces new cybersecurity responsibilities for embedded Linux vendors, including SBOM generation and CVE management.
Using the Open-EP E-Paper project as a practical example, this session demonstrates how compliance workflows can be integrated into CI pipelines and compares vendor BSPs with upstream Yocto strategies to accelerate secure updates and regulatory readiness.
